Tips and Tricks to solve Samsung Galaxy S4 mobile data failure issue

Samsung Galaxy, the world’s leading smart phone selling company has introduced many extra ordinary smart phone devices. One of those is Samsung Galaxy S4. Although the company is the largest selling smart phone organization and has manufactured quality smart phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) but it doesn’t mean the device is free of faults. One of the most common issues faced by this device users is the failure of mobile data. The device supports 2g, 3g 4g and LTE mobile data.

Below are the possible reasons and solutions of mobile data failure in Samsung Galaxy S4.

Possible Reasons:

  • Disabled mobile data settings.
  • Mobile data is not configured according to the Network Service Provider.
  • Third party applications may results in the failure of mobile data.

  • Check the data connection is enabled or disabled by following these steps:
    • Tap on Apps on the Home Screen
    • Tap on Settings icon
    • Tap on More Networks
    • Tap on Mobile Network
    • If the Mobile Data Box is unchecked then check the box and check the service.
  • If the problem is still there then check the Network Service Provider settings/configuration:
    • Tap on Apps on the Home Screen
    • Tap on Settings icon
    • Tap on More Networks
    • Tap on Mobile Network
    • Tap on Access Point Names, Select the Network Provider and check the data settings. If there are no settings then contact the service provider that you are using.
  • Sometimes the mobile data failure is at the Network service provider end; browse through the smart device of your family member or friend that is using the same network provider. If you face the same problem there the problem is of Network service provider.
  • If you are facing the continuous connection and disconnection of mobile data connection in your Samsung Galaxy S4 then this may be the result of overloaded memory of Android Operating system. For this you need to clear the run time memory of the Samsung Galaxy S4 by stopping the unnecessary apps running in the background. To stop the unnecessary apps you need to follow the below procedure:
    • Tap on Apps on the Home screen
    • Tap on Settings.
    • Tap on More
    • Tap on Application Manager
    • Swipe right to left to move to the Running Apps
    • Select and stop the unnecessary Apps one by one.
  • If you are still facing the issue then you need to perform the Soft Reboot to your Samsung Galaxy S4. A soft Reboot is the best way to stop the unnecessary apps and to clear the run time memory.

Note:  Make sure that the settings in the Access Point Name of Samsung Galaxy S4 are properly configured according to the network service provider settings. Else contact your service provider to send you the proper handset settings for mobile data.
