
Google now starts offering domain names, challenging the market
As per the latest track records, Google has now started a new domain name registering service which can be the most innovative and remarkable step by the company from the year 2014. Recently launched as a Beta version (works only on invitation codes
as of 21 August), offers a .com domain name for about $8
Google is an accredited registrar from ICANN for top level domains like .pro, .museum, .travel etc. So, here are the features that Google currently offers on domains:
- Domain Transfer
- Up to 100 Sub Domains
- 100 Email Aliases for your domain
- Domain Forwarding and Masking
- DNS Zone File edits so that you can edit A, AAAA, TXT, MX or CName records including variations with TTL
- Almost all new top level domain names like .tech, .productions or .solutions etc
- Management tools and Site Builders
- Private registration support which means your personal details won’t be shared in WHOIS info
- Speed and Reliability because IT’S GOOGLE! 😉
- Support Monday to Friday 9 AM to 9 PM EST
By the way It is important to note that the service is available for the ones who have invite codes, So If you dont have an invite code, you cant use this beta version.
